WFC 6 “Muay Thai & MMA” May 3rd, 2013 Grand Sierra Resort & Casino

World Fighting Championships (WFC) and Grand Sierra Resort are coming together May 3rd to bring MMA & Muay Thai to Reno together for the first time.

“Stand up fighting enthusiast will be in for a treat. Come May 3rd, there will be toe to toe brawls like you’ve never seen before,” said WFC President, Matt McGovern.

The card will showcase the top talent from Northern Nevada, Utah and California in each respective sport, highlighted by local favorites, Memo Vasquez, Brennan Mishler, Matt McCrary, Adam Hebenstreich, Chris Cocores to name a few.

“Im ecstatic to have the opportunity to fight in front of my friends and family here in Northern Nevada. I plan on putting on a show, May 3!” Said local Muay Thai fighter, Memo Vasquez.

The event will be held in Grand Sierra’s world class theatre as the first installment of WFC’s new long term partnership with the resort.
