Reno, NV- World Fighting Championships and Grand Sierra Resort are teaming up to present, WFC 49 on Saturday, March 19th. WFC 49 will feature some of the highest level MMA, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fighters in the game today! WFC is coming off a sold out event with great fights in Reno and we expect the same for WFC 49.In MMA action, the massive Matt McCrary (6-4) will be in Heavyweight action against undefeated Emilio Trevino, along with other fan favorites like Corey Carlson, Melvin Washington, Justin Gragg, Dakota Smart, Tony Morlett, Josh Nemo, Chris Min, Michael Courneya, and Joseph McKernin.Then Seven Muay Thai bouts will be presented, with the marquee match up pitting Adam Hebenstreich vs Gabe Ramriez in what promises to be a “whoever blinks, loses” affair. Then five anticipated debits will follow as Hernan Avila, Alexis Casillas, Travis Bringle, Adam Hill and Cameron Church all compete in the ring.
Then five Jiu Jitsu grappling matches will be showcased to fans in attendance at Grand Sierra. The incredibly crafty Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown belt , Jack Montgomery will compete as well as Black belts Robert Travers and Josh Turner, as well as Brown Belt Frankie DiMartino and Purple Belt Nicole Johnson to round out an explosive night in Reno.
Tickets start at $30 for General Admission and are available through the WFC website at www.WFCfights.com until midnight. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets early, as the best seats sell out early.
Doors to the Silver State Pavilion will open at 7:00 P.M. on fight night. First fight starts at 8:00 P.M.
