WFC and Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel announce first MMA, Muay Thai & BJJ show of the year!

LIVE MMA, Muay Thai & BJJ Friday, MARCH 4th,2016
Las Vegas, NV – World Fighting Championships and Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel  are teaming up to present  WFC 48 on Friday, March 4th,2016.
WFC 48 will feature MMA, Muay Thai, and BJJ fights, including two WFC World Title bouts.
The Mixed Martial Arts portion will be headlined with a Welterweight Championship contest between Hayes Haymaker Christensen and Patrick Branch. Before the pair vie for the coveted 170lb strap, a double decker portion of Heavyweight fights will be served.  Undefeated titans Hanalei Baisa and Shane Mapatis take on each other. Rey Salceda, Vladimir Martinez, Mario Huerta, and many more will round out the MMA portion for the evening
Perhaps the most exciting aspect of MMA is standing slug-outs and WFC is providing just that, in the form of 6 Muay Thai bouts! Bryce Gonzalez will go toe to toe with Tofilua Mika in a featherweight affair. Then WFC Muay Thai Gold will be on the line when Eric Watts does battle with Vlad Sokolov for he 175lbs Muay Thai BeltWFC will also feature local favorite, Mike Lavell in his Muay Thai debut. 

MMA, Muay Thai and now Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Black Belt Rafael Domingos, Brown Belts: Also Robert Drysdale’s Gym representatives Rene Lopez and Black belt Marcelo Nunes will search for submission as well.
Tickets to the event start at $25, and are sold through WFCFights.com or at the Eastside Cannery box office. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets early, as the best seats tend to sell out early

The official WFC 48 Weigh-in will take place on Thursday, March 3rd  inside the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel located at 5255 Boulder Hwy Las Vegas, NV 89122 at 5:30 PM. The weigh-ins are free and open to the public with fans encouraged to attend and support their fighters.

Doors to the Eastside Events Center  open at 5:00 P.M. on fight night. First fight starts at 6:00 P.M.
