Lake Elsinore, CA; Lake Elsinore Stadium, June 13th, 2014

The fastest growing MMA organization in the country is proud to announce our first of many-to-come mixed martial arts event in California: WFC 22: Amateur MMA, June 13th, 2014 at Lake Elsinore Stadium, Lake Elsinore, California.  WFC 21 showcases some of the best local talent mixed martial arts has to offer. Doors to the stadium open at 6 P.M., fights start at 7:30 P.M.

“This event marks our entrance to California and I’m excited to be able to provide more opportunities for California-based amateur MMA competitors.  They deserved to be showcased and I’m excited to have a nearly all Southern California show,”  C.E.O. Matt McGovern

Over a dozen bouts are scheduled with a fight card that includes many fighters from Lake Elsinore, Murietta, Temecula, Corona, San Diego, Canyon Lake, Rancho Cucamonga, and Hemet such as Tim Quiroga, Juan Carlos Garcia, Idris Wasi, Hector Saldana, Cory Beason, Luis Rodriguez, Louie De La Torre, and Nick Abajian.

In the main event attraction, Lake Elsinore hometown hero, fighter Tim Quiroga, 5 wins, 0 losses, takes on San Diego challenger Don Murphin in what is expected to be an amazing fight. “It’s the best feeling to be part of such a great show in my own hometown.  It’s what drives me to train harder and harder.  This fight will open doors for me and put Lake Elsinore on the map,” Tim Quiroga.

Two newcomers collide in the cage when Louie De La Torre of Gonzalez Fighting System in Canyon Lake welcomes Quinn Boyce of Millennia MMA in Redlands, CA.  “I’m going to go out there and give it my all no matter where in the world I fight.  I am excited to be part of such a great organization as WFC and hope to one day be a champion,” Louie De La Torre.

Tickets for WFC 22 start at $30 and are available now through WFCFights.com This show invites all fans of any ages.
